It's far from being perfect with too many protracted and wordy scenes and episodes of apathetic violence that generally fail to bring any pizazz to the plot. But it is still, for the most part, a lot of fun! Quentin Tarantino's brash and unashamedly implausible piece of alternative history, has great moments of bravura. The soundtrack is pure delight, from the opening credits, the western-like act dawning of chapter 1, the Bowie's Cat People-cadenced scene at the beginning of chapter 5, to the final credits with the "Allonsanfàn" borrowed theme : "Rabbia e Tarantella". I'll definitely want to see it again sooner than later.
